What happens in your 45-minute Rs. 99 consultation

Your call begins with a structured cycle and symptom history — when irregularities started, what's improved or worsened, family patterns, prior treatments. Your BAMS-certified Ayurvedic doctor then explains the dosha pattern most likely driving your PMOS (PCOS) — whether it's a Vata, Pitta or Kapha-dominant presentation — and maps it against modern markers like insulin resistance, androgen excess and inflammation. You'll leave the call with a written protocol covering diet, lifestyle, herbs and supplements where appropriate, and a clear view of whether the 90-day Recovery Program is the right next step.

About your doctor — Dr. Megha Haldia, BAMS

Dr. Megha is a BAMS practitioner in Ayurveda fertility and gynaecological disorders, certified in Striroga Sthanika Chikitsa (Ayurvedic gynaecology) and registered with the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine. In consultation she works from classical Ayurvedic diagnosis, Nadi Pariksha (pulse reading), Prakriti assessment and dosha-based pattern recognition, and reads that against your endocrine markers and lab reports. Across seven years she has worked with thousands of women managing PMOS, PCOD, irregular cycles, hormonal acne and unexplained weight gain. She is also the lead practitioner for Qura's AYUSH-approved formulations.

Why root-cause Ayurveda, not symptom management

Hormonal pills regulate your cycle on the medication — and symptoms return when you stop. PMOS (PCOS) is rarely just a hormone problem. Most cases involve insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, Agni (digestive fire) imbalance, or a combination of all three. Our 90-day protocol works on the underlying pattern using AYUSH-approved, NABL-lab-tested formulations together with diet, sleep, and movement guidance matched to your individual prakriti. The goal is your cycle returning on its own — not on a pill.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the first consultation cost?
Rs. 99 for your 45-minute first session, a video call with the doctor. No hidden charges. Follow-up consultations are also Rs. 99 (regular price Rs. 599). If the 90-day program is a fit, your doctor will recommend the right plan and share its price with you on the call. If it's not, you leave with a written protocol you can follow on your own.
How is this different from a gynaecologist's visit?
We don't prescribe hormonal contraceptives or symptom-suppressing pills. We diagnose the underlying Ayurvedic pattern alongside relevant lab markers and address it through formulations, diet and lifestyle. Most women who reach us have already tried oral contraceptives and want a non-hormonal path.
Do I need lab reports for the first call?
Not required. Bring whatever you have — ultrasound, hormone panel, thyroid, fasting insulin. If you don't have recent reports, your doctor will guide you on what to test, usually after the first call.
Where are you located? Do I need to travel?
Qura is fully teleconsultation across India. The first call is on video, follow-ups can be video or WhatsApp. Herbs and supplements ship to your address.
What if I have PCOD, not PCOS?
PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease) and PMOS (PCOS) overlap heavily in Ayurvedic terms — both involve cycle irregularity, ovulation issues, and metabolic dysregulation. The diagnostic and treatment frameworks are largely the same. Your doctor will identify the specific pattern in your case.
